 Named after Charles Beckman, who founded the Red Wing Company in 1905, the "Beckman Boot" was born in 2006, based on Red Wing boots from the early 20th century, the company's founding period, and mixed with modern materials and tastes. It quickly became a very popular product, but manufacturing was halted due to production system issues caused by COVID-19 and other factors, and we received many requests for its revival. And now, the reborn Beckman is finally making its comeback. The Beckman that reappeared this season features design improvements that largely reflect the opinions of the development team who first created the Beckman. The same upper is placed on a more anatomically considered last, and a thin layer of Poron foam has been added under the leather heel pad for a more comfortable fit. The leather insole remains unchanged, and the outsole has become Grocord, the same as the flatbox. Speed hooks added to the upper make it easy to put on and take off. The stitching has been changed to match each leather, making it easy to clean with color cream without worrying about coloring. The leather has an elegant sheen. The sole features a traditional leather sole with a grip-enhancing resin half-sole attached. This combination of elements evokes traditional American boots that add practicality to a formal style. With its wide range of styles, from smart to casual coordination, it will likely become one of Red Wing's top sellers again. When the leather surface feels dry, apply a thin layer of "Mink Oil" or "All Natural Leather Conditioner". After about 30 minutes, it is recommended to wipe off any remaining oil on the leather surface with a dry cloth. If you want to achieve a shine, you can polish it with cream. For polishing while covering scratches and adding color, "Boot Cream / Black" is suitable, but "Boot Cream / Neutral (colorless)" can also be used. Apply an amount of boot cream about the size of a few coffee beans to the entire surface, then polish with a soft cloth or brush. In addition, diligent daily brushing is effective in preventing dirt and mold on your boots. Please use a Red Wing "brush" made of long horsehair, which is highly effective at sweeping away dust. The instep circumference is tighter compared to the old Beckman's No. 8 last. It is often observed that customers need to go up by 0.5 size. Red Wing products can receive repairs at the manufacturer's headquarters indefinitely.
