■REDWING Beckman Black Cherry Excalibur No.9419
![]() Named after Charles Beckman, who founded the Red Wing Shoe Company in 1905, the "Beckman Boot" was created in 2006 by blending modern materials and tastes with boots from the early 20th century, the company's founding period. It quickly became a popular product, but production was halted due to the impact of COVID-19 and other factors on the production system, and we received many requests for its revival. Now, the reborn Beckman is finally making its comeback. The Beckman that reappeared this season has undergone design improvements that greatly reflect the opinions of the development team who first created the Beckman. The same upper is layered on a more anatomically considered last, and a thin layer of Poron foam has been added under the leather heel pad for a more comfortable fit. The leather insole remains unchanged, and the outsole has become the Gro Cord, the same as the Flat Box. Speed hooks added to the top make it easy to put on and take off. The stitching has been changed to match each leather, making it easy to clean with color cream without worrying about coloring. Leather with an elegant sheen. A sole with a traditional leather sole and a resin half-sole for good grip. The combination of these elements evokes traditional American boots that add practicality to formal styles. With a wide range of styles that can be matched from smart to casual coordination, it will once again become one of Red Wing's top sellers. If the leather surface appears dry, apply a thin coat of "Mink Oil" or "All Natural Leather Conditioner". After letting it sit for about 30 minutes, it is recommended to wipe off any remaining oil on the leather surface with a dry cloth. If you want to add shine, you can polish it with cream. For polishing while covering scratches and recoloring, "Boot Cream / Burgundy" is suitable, but "Boot Cream / Neutral (colorless)" can also be used. Apply an amount of boot cream about the size of a few coffee beans to the entire surface, then polish with a soft cloth or brush. Also, regular brushing is effective in preventing dirt and mold on boots. Please use a Red Wing "brush" made of long horsehair, which is highly effective in removing dust. Compared to the old Beckman's No. 8 last, the instep area is tighter. It is often seen that the size is increased by 0.5. Red Wing products can continue to receive repairs at the manufacturer's headquarters. In addition to sole replacement, repairs such as restitching and reattaching metal fittings are available as much as possible. Please contact our store for repair consultations. ![]() One of the most famous boot manufacturers in the world, founded in 1905.
