■REDWING WEEKENDER CHUKKA BOOTS ROUGH & TOUGH COPPER STYLE No.3622
![]() Red Wing's new "WEEKENDER" collection. It features a slightly thinner upper leather than existing work boots, with a lightweight outsole and construction, offering a light and comfortable fit. "Stitchdown Construction" Stitchdown construction is one of the world's oldest shoe-making methods, dating back to the 17th century. The edge of the upper leather extends over the midsole like the brim of a hat, and the midsole is sewn and fixed to the upper. Like other Red Wing boots, stitchdown construction allows for resoling of the outsole. Please be aware that genuine leather may have unique wrinkles. Please purchase with this understanding. ・Leather: Copper Rough & Tough ・Outsole: Hill ・Insole: Weekender Ortholite ・Construction: Stitchdown ・Last: No.64 ・Width: D Total weight including package: 1110g ![]() One of the world's most famous boot manufacturers, founded in 1905. It has created various innovative technologies and designs that form the basis of modern work boots, and has established a solid position as a top brand to this day. It is one of the rare manufacturers in the world that owns its own tannery to produce the leather used in its shoes. The products we sell are not parallel imports, but are sourced through official channels via Red Wing Japan Co., Ltd., which is responsible for official imports and sales in Japan.
![]() ■Copper Rough & Tough Copper Rough & Tough is a leather with a unique texture created by buffing the grain. The buffed grain absorbs oil significantly better than unbuffed grain, so applying oil-based care products will darken the leather's color. Additionally, wax components in care products can coat the surface, causing the leather to lose its original rough texture. To prevent this and maintain the leather's original texture, apply a thin layer of "Leather Cream" instead of oil-based care products. "Leather Cream" is an emulsion cream that blends a small amount of oil and water, but it does not contain the wax found in general oil-based care products or emulsion creams, making it ideal for moisturizing leather that is delicate to oil. After application, let it sit for a while until the leather surface dries, then brush the entire leather with a "brush" to restore the rough texture of the leather surface. Rough & Tough leather is rich in oil and wax. Frequent care is not necessary, but if you feel the leather surface is drying out, please perform the care as described above. Furthermore, daily regular brushing is also effective in preventing dirt and mold on your boots. Please use a Red Wing "brush" made of long horsehair, which is highly effective at removing dust. Size Details Regarding Products Many of our products are designed based on vintage items. To emphasize the authentic feel, there may be slight sewing discrepancies, variations in fabric color and texture due to processing, and color irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the product's charm. Additionally, product specifications (sewing, parts, color, size, etc.) may change without prior notice. We hope you will enjoy our products with an understanding of the above points.
