 Red Wing's new collection, "WEEKENDER". It features a slightly thinner upper leather than existing work boots, with a lightweight outsole and construction, offering a light and comfortable fit. "Stitchdown Construction" Stitchdown construction is one of the oldest shoe constructions in the world, dating back to the 17th century. The edge of the upper leather spreads out over the midsole like the brim of a hat, and the midsole is stitched to the upper to secure it. Like other Red Wing boots, stitchdown construction allows for resoling of the outsole.  ■Copper Rough & Tough Copper Rough & Tough is a leather whose grain surface has been buffed and processed to give it a unique texture. The buffed grain surface absorbs oil significantly better than an unprocessed grain surface, so applying oil-based care products will darken the leather's color. Additionally, the wax components in care products will coat the surface, causing the leather's original rough texture to be lost. To prevent this and maintain the leather's natural texture, please apply a thin layer of "Leather Cream" instead of oil-based care products. "Leather Cream" is an emulsified cream that blends a small amount of oil and water, but unlike general oil-based care products and emulsified creams, it does not contain wax, making it ideal for moisturizing leather that is delicate to oil. After application, wait a moment until the leather surface dries, then use a "brush" to brush the entire leather to bring out the rough texture of the leather surface. Rough & Tough leather is rich in oil and wax. Frequent maintenance is not necessary, but if you feel the leather surface is drying out, please perform the above maintenance. Also, regular brushing is effective in preventing dirt and mold on boots. Please use a Red Wing "brush" made of long horsehair, which is highly effective in removing dust. To emphasize the atmosphere, there may be slight stitching discrepancies, variations in fabric color and texture due to processing, color unevenness, etc., but please understand these as part of the product's charm.
