Single-sided vertical knit thermal adopted by the military in the 40s
From the 1940s to the 1960s, the US Navy ordered thermals from various suppliers. Therefore, there are more than a dozen types of what are called military thermals.
Common qualities include vertical knitting (both double-sided and single-sided), manufacturing with flat seams or flatlock, and a crew neck.
Although all are made of cotton, the material feel, sizes, and dimensions vary remarkably.
Isn't one of the values of thermals to always be manufactured with the same quality, size, and dimensions?

●Material
"Honeycomb" vertical-knit single-sided thermal material manufactured in Wakayama. The vertical knit shape adopted by the US Navy in 1940 is known for its high air content, and its heat retention is widely recognized as a valuable feature.
This is an original material where the vertical knit is densely woven to improve durability and heat retention.

White cut-and-sewn products (T-shirts, etc.) from Deluxe Ware may contain foreign fibers (red or blue fibers).
These are inevitably mixed in during the spinning process when cotton is formed into yarn. However, after repeated inspections, we remove as many foreign fibers as possible before commercializing the product.
Therefore, fibers that cannot be removed are treated as A-grade products. We appreciate your understanding.
*Currently, chemicals used to remove (bleach) these foreign fibers are harmful and prohibited by law.

Special Notes: Three-dimensional armholes
This pattern features a gentle shoulder slope angle designed for body types in their 30s and 40s, a three-dimensional shape with a large front and back armhole curve, and "insert binders" that enhance the strength around the neck.
Also, as the material has high elasticity, it is finished to dimensions that account for the stretch rate.
