■JELADO Age of Longing Black tag 301EXX JP94301E
![]() Model Height 175cm, Weight 60kg, wearing 31 inches "LAST RESORT DENIM" became JELADO's finest masterpiece. This model is even wilder and has a stronger vintage feel. Using a black tag, we created an early 1947 model, which is one of the most popular among all XX models. This is a special denim created with a new approach, meticulously deconstructing, analyzing, and reproducing XX denim. We sampled from an actual 32-inch vintage pair, a so-called "golden size" specimen owned by JELADO. The individual sampled this time has a leather patch, single-sided tab, long side stitches, and thick belt loops similar to wartime models, among other features that clearly indicate its age. We meticulously reproduced the unique characteristics of this piece, such as the coin pocket sewn significantly lower and the generous seam allowance on the back pockets. The LAST RESORT black tag is sewn into the pocket opening. The inseam is sewn in three steps, creating a firm creasing. By offsetting the back yoke seam and varying the length of the waistband on the front and back, we replicated the sewing techniques of the time, considering the intention behind them, such as minimizing tension. We reproduced these jeans while incorporating the concepts of the time, such as Levi's desired fit and sewing techniques that prevented thread breakage. The buttons used are original iron buttons with plating. The single-sided rayon tab, solid copper original rivets, and leather patch made of horsehide have a rough surface, which makes printing difficult and results in individual differences in the patches. Although they feel stiff at first, you'll experience the same stretch and softness of the fabric as the white tag from the second day onward. <LAST RESORT BLACK TAG> JELADO's white tag denim was developed with the company's fate on the line. Within that mission to reproduce XX, if we were to talk about a distinct process that we intentionally avoided, it would be "color tone." This LAST RESORT Black Tag was created to reproduce the texture and color of denim woven under conditions where spinning technology was less developed and yarn quality was poorer than it is today, while also achieving a vintage-like color tone. We used the same raw cotton for both warp and weft yarns as the white tag (warp EMOT, weft California Pima) to create the yarn. However, we manipulated the warp yarn to encourage nep to pop out, resulting in a stronger unevenness. By creating a stronger unevenness, we can achieve a longer vertical fading. Looking at the vintage pieces we targeted, the dullness of the weft yarn's color was quite noticeable. The cotton color at the time seemed more like a yellowish ecru than white. We decided to dye the yarn after creating it to incorporate this depth of color, and then weave the fabric. By changing to a different dyeing factory from the white tag, we achieved a completely different color. The height of the rope and the dyeing process vary depending on the dyeing factory, so the color output also changes. Due to these process differences, the white tag is 14oz, and the black tag is 15oz, resulting in a different fabric weight. We also intentionally dyed the fabric 8 times deeply, resulting in a darker, deeper blue denim. This denim, with its deep color and wild, uneven texture, is used as "LAST RESORT DENIM Black Tag" for models that seek a more heritage feel. In the future, this denim will be used for denim wear models from the 1940s and earlier. While it has a wilder appearance and fabric touch, after two days of wear, it transforms into a soft, smooth, and comfortable feel, similar to the white tag, without any stress. ![]() JELADO was founded in 2004.
