Model: Height 175cm, Weight 62kg, wearing size 38The US Navy has been issuing denim workwear since the turn of the century. This shawl collar jacket is an example from around World War I. While there are slight differences in stitching compared to later variations, the true beauty of this piece lies in its stenciling. The initials on the cuffs could be the sailor's name. The stencil on the back indicates an air base in Minnesota. The incredible fading is also a notable feature. White stenciling on denim is common, but black is rarely seen, which I find interesting.
