The curved belt, which is one of the origins of the name CIRCLE, pursues a better fit around the waist by revamping the conventional straight belt pattern. These new jeans are made in Japan with uncompromising "authentic denim" that is easier to wear and can adapt to any lifestyle. The four curved silhouettes form a circle, pushing the boundaries of craftsmanship that Kojima is proud of. ＜Model＞#4 Classic Straight A classic straight model with room remaining from the thigh to the knee. With a deep rise and a slightly thicker silhouette, it pairs perfectly with casual styles. Although it has a relaxed fit overall due to a slight taper, it still has a refined finish that doesn't feel overly baggy. ＜Fabric＞12.5oz African Cotton Vintage Selvedge This fabric uses long-staple African cotton for both warp and weft, characterized by its soft and supple texture. By blending 12% brown cotton, we reproduce the "old-fashioned blue" color, inspired by the hue from the early 1900s when synthetic indigo was invented. ・Soft denim blended with brown cotton ・Natural fading ・Red selvage ・100% cotton  The quality of jeans is largely determined by the fabric, so JAPAN BLUE spends the most time on fabric creation. Cotton selection, yarn spinning method, dyeing, weaving method. With just these four points, countless fabrics can be created. From these, we carefully consider and create what we believe to be the best fabric at that time. The visible design is kept as simple as possible. We keep it simple because we want you to look at the fabric we spent so much time creating without preconceived notions. Even though it's simply called "denim fabric," its characteristics vary greatly, such as heavy/light, hard/soft, dark/light. We aim to create jeans that allow you to experience, enjoy, and discover the differences in each denim fabric by wearing JAPAN BLUE. Creating the best jeans equals creating the best material. JAPAN BLUE does spend most of its time developing and creating the material, because the material is a key factor to determine the quality of jeans. Selecting cotton, spinning cotton, dyeing the yarn and finally weave a fabric, one can create a few thousand fabric using just these four processes. JAPAN BLUE considers all four processes and creates a fabric best suited at that time. Visible design, or silhouettes, are kept extremely simple, yet contemporary. We would like you to look, without prejudice, at the materials, how they develop over time... denim can't be described in one word, there are too many characteristics such as heavy vs light fabric, soft vs hard cotton, light vs dark dye, and so on...
