The curved "curved belt" is one of the origins of the name CIRCLE. We have completely revamped the previous straight belt pattern and pursued a better fit around the waist by adopting a "curved belt." These new jeans are made in Japan with uncompromising "authentic denim," designed to be more comfortable and adaptable to all lifestyles. Four silhouettes connected by curves form a circle, embodying the pinnacle of craftsmanship that Made in Kojima is proud of. ＜Model＞#3 Straight This is a basic straight model with a plain, straight silhouette. The key point is the gentle taper from the thigh to the hem, and a slight narrowing at the hem to make the legs look neat. The moderately slim design is highly regarded overseas and is a pair you can wear for a long time. ＜Fabric＞12.5oz African Cotton Vintage Selvedge This fabric uses long-staple African cotton for both warp and weft, characterized by its soft and supple texture. By blending 12% brown cotton, we reproduce the "traditional blue" that evokes the color of indigo when synthetic indigo was invented in the early 1900s. ・Soft denim blended with brown cotton ・Natural fading ・Red ear (selvedge) ・100% Cotton  The fabric makes up the majority of a good pair of jeans, so JAPAN BLUE spends the most time on fabric production. Cotton selection, yarn spinning, dyeing, and weaving. These four points alone can create countless fabrics. From these, we carefully consider and create what we believe to be the best fabric at that time. The visible design is kept as simple as possible. This simplicity stems from our desire for people to look at the fabric we've spent so much time creating without preconceived notions. Even though it's called denim fabric, its characteristics vary greatly, such as heavy/light, hard/soft, dark/light. We aim to create jeans that allow you to experience, enjoy, and discover the differences in each denim fabric by wearing JAPAN BLUE. Creating the best jeans equals creating the best material. JAPAN BLUE does spend most of its time developing and creating the material, because the material is a key factor to determine the quality of jeans. Selecting cotton, spinning cotton, dyeing the yarn and finally weave a fabric, one can create a few thousand fabrics using just these four processes. JAPAN BLUE considers all four processes and creates a fabric best suited at that time. Visible design, or silhouettes, are kept extremely simple, yet contemporary. We would like you to look, without prejudice, at the materials, how they develop over time... denim can't be described in one word, there are too many characteristics such as heavy vs light fabric, soft vs hard cotton, light vs dark dye, and so on...
