■AERO LEATHER Riders Jacket HIGHWAYMAN Premier

This is a Japan-exclusive model based on Aero Leather's iconic HIGHWAYMAN model, but with a tighter fit.
It's not just a matter of making it narrower; the pattern has been redesigned from scratch,
so even if you custom order a HIGHWAYMAN with narrower shoulders and body, it won't achieve this silhouette.
In particular, the armholes are considerably narrower than the regular HIGHWAYMAN.
Additionally, the cuffs have been changed from storm cuffs with internal ribs to more classic button cuffs.

FQHH (Front Quarter Horsehide)
This is arguably the world's finest horsehide, confidently produced by the venerable Horween tannery, which boasts over a century of history.
Aero Leather is the only company in the world with exclusive use of it. It is Aero Leather's most iconic leather.
Horse leather is a very valuable material today, and its smooth surface can only be achieved with Aero Leather.
Furthermore, Aero Leather's horsehide is chrome-tanned and almost completely waterproof.
While Aero Leather products may initially feel like a lead plate, over many years of "wearing them out,"
they soften and mold to the wearer's body and intended use.
Each such garment develops a unique character, creating a one-of-a-kind piece for its owner.
Aero Leather becomes richer and more profound with each passing decade, a pleasure that lasts a lifetime.

Maintenance
By maintaining it with Aero Leather genuine horsehide leather conditioner,
it will develop a very fine, velvety soft, yet firm leather.
Mink oil, commonly used for leather product maintenance, is completely unsuitable for horsehide.
This is because the wax contained in mink oil excessively coats the leather,
hindering healthy aging. (All animal waxes are unsuitable.)

Off-season storage
・Before storing, lightly wipe with a dry towel to remove dirt and dust.
(A well-ventilated, dry place away from direct sunlight is best.)
・Apply Aero Leather genuine horsehide leather conditioner.
・When autumn arrives and the season begins, apply a small amount of Aero Leather conditioner.
・Maintaining it with leather conditioner 1-2 times during the season will further enhance its aging process.

Aero Leather's horsehide is water-resistant, so if it gets a little wet in the rain, simply wipe off the surface with a towel.
However, caution is needed if it becomes completely soaked with dripping rain.
Wet leather is very susceptible to heat, and strong heat can cause deformation and deterioration.
Never use hair dryers or heaters; instead, allow it to air dry naturally in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
Just before it is completely dry, apply more than the usual amount of Aero Leather genuine horsehide leather conditioner to replenish the oils.
This is because oils are lost as moisture evaporates.

This is an in-stock item offered at its original specifications and price at the time of procurement.

Regarding the Product
Many of our products feature designs based on vintage items. To emphasize the vintage aesthetic, there may be slight variations in stitching, fabric color, texture due to processing, and uneven coloring. Please understand that these are part of the product's charm. Also, product specifications (stitching, parts, color, size, etc.) may change without prior notice. We hope you will enjoy our products with the above points in mind.

Horsehide retains the natural texture of the leather, so scars and wrinkles that the horse acquired during its life may be visible. These are not defects.
A white powder (bloom) may be present on the leather surface, but this is oil from the leather rising to the surface,
and it will disappear with use, so please rest assured.
