This Japan-exclusive model is a tight-fit version based on the HIGHWAYMAN, one of Aero Leather's iconic models.
It's not simply a matter of making the width tighter; the pattern was completely remade from scratch,
so even if you customize a HIGHWAYMAN to have narrower shoulders and body width, it won't achieve this silhouette.
In particular, the armholes are considerably narrower than the regular HIGHWAYMAN.
Also, the cuffs have been changed from storm cuffs with built-in ribs to more classic button cuffs.

FQHH (Front Quarter Horsehide)
This is arguably the world's finest horsehide, proudly produced by Horween, an ultra-long-established company with over 100 years of history.
Aero Leather has the sole exclusive use of this leather worldwide. It is Aero Leather's most iconic leather.
Currently, horse leather is extremely rare, and the smooth surface can only be achieved with Aero Leather.
Furthermore, Aero Leather's horsehide is chrome-tanned and almost completely waterproof.
Aero Leather products initially feel as stiff as lead sheets, but over time, by "wearing them out,"
they soften and mold to the wearer's body and intended use.
Each such jacket then develops its own unique character, becoming a one-of-a-kind garment.
As years turn into decades, Aero Leather develops a deeper character, and this enjoyment lasts a lifetime.

Maintenance
By maintaining with Aero Leather's genuine horsehide leather conditioner,
the leather becomes incredibly fine, with a delicate, velvety feel and resilience.
Mink oil, commonly used for leather product maintenance, is strictly not suitable for horsehide.
This is because the wax contained in mink oil and similar products over-coats the leather,
hindering its natural aging process. (All animal-based waxes are unsuitable.)

Off-season storage
・Before storing, lightly wipe with a dry towel to remove dirt and dust.
　(A well-ventilated, dry place away from direct sunlight is best.)
・Apply Aero Leather's genuine horsehide leather conditioner.
・When autumn arrives and the season begins, apply a small amount of Aero Leather conditioner.
・Maintaining with leather conditioner 1-2 times during the season will further enhance its aging.

Aero Leather's horsehide is water-resistant, so even if it gets a little wet in the rain, simply wiping off the surface water with a towel is fine.
However, caution is needed if it gets soaked to the point of dripping rain.
Wet leather is extremely susceptible to heat, and strong heat can cause deformation and deterioration.
Never use a hairdryer or heater; instead, allow it to air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
Just before it is completely dry, apply more than the usual amount of Aero Leather's genuine horsehide leather conditioner to replenish the oils.
This is because oils are lost as moisture evaporates.
