This time, we are introducing an item made from woven stripe denim, which appeared in an advertisement in 1914 and is almost non-existent in vintage form. Since the stripes are expressed through weaving rather than printing, it is clearly thought to be a rival to Wabash stripes from companies like Stifel. Based on an analysis of fabric swatches attached to novelty notebooks distributed at stores, we have created it using three colors of 10-count cotton yarn: indigo, ecru, and charcoal, in a left-hand twill weave. The style is a simple overall with only one pocket on the bib (chest panel), predating the patents for the watch pocket (November 1916) and ruler pocket (April 1919). It is a low-back type with elastic parts printed with the logo on the shoulder straps, and the waist is adjustable with a cinch-back. Selvedge is used on the seam allowance on the center side of the bib. ＜HEADLIGHT＞ A brand of Larned Carter & Co., which started in the early 1900s and existed until the 1960s. Unusually for its time, it handled everything from weaving to sewing in-house, demonstrating a strong commitment to its products. As the trademarks on its labels and hangtags indicate, it was favored and supplied to railroad workers and engineers. Even today, it remains highly popular among collectors, and we are reviving rare items that are difficult to obtain. Weight: 860g  SUGAR CANE has been consistently producing meticulously crafted button-down wear for many years. It is a long-established brand of vintage American casual wear by Toyo Enterprises, which also owns flight jacket and collectible Hawaiian shirt brands such as Buzz Rickson's and Sun Surf.
