■Aero Leather Riders Jacket HALFBELT STF (Super Tight Fit)

The HALFBELT is a model that is more tapered at the waist than the HIGHWAYMAN, one of Aero Leather's most iconic models.
This STF (Super Tight Fit) is a tighter version of the HALFBELT, tailored to the Japanese physique.
It is a special Japanese specification jointly developed by Aero Leather Japan and Ken Calder, available only through Aero Leather Japan.
The waist, upper arms, and armholes have been tightened, and by particularly reducing the size of the armholes,
it has resulted in a jacket that is completely different from the regular Halfbelt. The cuffs feature buttons.

FQHH (Front Quarter Horsehide)
This is arguably the world's finest horsehide, confidently produced by the ultra-long-established Horween Company, with over 100 years of history.
Aero Leather is the only company in the world with exclusive use of this leather. It is Aero Leather's most representative leather.
Horsehide is currently a very precious leather, and its smooth surface can only be achieved with Aero Leather.
Furthermore, Aero Leather's horsehide is chrome-tanned and almost completely waterproof.
While Aero Leather products may initially feel stiff like a lead plate, by "wearing them out" over many years,
they soften and the leather molds to your body and intended use.
Each such garment develops its own unique character, becoming a one-of-a-kind piece that is uniquely yours.
Aero Leather becomes more flavorful with each passing decade, for 10 or 20 years, and this enjoyment continues for a lifetime.

Maintenance
By maintaining it with Aero Leather's genuine horsehide leather conditioner,
the leather becomes incredibly fine, with a delicate, velvety feel and good body.
Mink oil, commonly used for leather product maintenance, is completely unsuitable for horsehide.
This is because the wax contained in mink oil excessively coats the leather,
hindering healthy aging. (All animal wax-based products are a no-go.)

Off-Season Storage
・Before storing, gently wipe with a dry towel to remove dirt and dust.
(A well-ventilated, dry place out of direct sunlight is best.)
・Apply Aero Leather's genuine horsehide leather conditioner.
・When autumn arrives and the season begins, apply a small amount of Aero Leather conditioner.
・Maintaining it with leather conditioner 1-2 times during the season will lead to even better aging.

Aero Leather's horsehide is water-resistant, so if it gets a little wet from rain, simply wipe the surface dry with a towel.
However, caution is needed if it becomes soaked to the point where rain drips off it.
Wet leather is very sensitive to heat; strong heat will cause deformation and deterioration.
Never use a hairdryer or stove. Allow it to air dry naturally in a shaded, well-ventilated area, and
just before it completely dries, apply a larger-than-normal amount of Aero Leather's genuine horsehide leather conditioner to replenish the oils.
This is because oil is also lost as moisture evaporates.

This is an in-stock item offered at the specifications and price at the time of purchase, available for immediate delivery.

AERO LEATHER

In 1983, it moved to Galashiels, Scotland, where it manufactures and sells leather jackets, etc., using the highest quality horsehide, known as front quarter, in the world. Regarding the Product
Many of our products feature designs based on vintage items. To emphasize the authentic feel, there may be slight sewing discrepancies, differences in fabric color and texture due to processing, and color variations. Please understand that these are part of the product's charm. Product specifications (stitching, parts, color, size, etc.) are also subject to change without notice. We hope you enjoy the product with these points in mind.

Horsehide intentionally retains the natural texture of the leather, so many scars and wrinkles received by the horse during its life may be visible. These are not defects.
White powder (bloom) may be present on the leather surface, but this is oil from the leather rising to the surface and
will disappear with use, so please rest assured.
