■AERO LEATHER Riders Jacket HALF BELT Horween Front Quarter Horsehide Cherry 38

<AERO LEATHER Halfbelt>
The HALFBELT is a model that is more cinched at the waist than AERO LEATHER's signature HIGHWAYMAN model.
Zippers began to be used in the 1930s, and jackets with this design became mainstream at the time.
Compared to the AeroLeatherClothing Highwayman, the waist area has a more cinched silhouette.
This is because the side straps next to the faux belt, which also act as an accent on the back panel,
allow for waist adjustment, making it a popular model for its more stylish jacket.
The sleeves have storm cuffs. The slash-type chest pocket has a diamond zipper. There are two hand pockets.
Extremely elegant design. And it's more than capable for riding.

Weight: 2550g

<Maintenance>
We strongly recommend using Aero Leather's genuine horsehide leather conditioner.
Mink oil and similar products are not recommended as the wax components can overcoat the leather.

Off-season storage
・Before storing, lightly wipe with a dry towel to remove dirt and dust. (Mold thrives on dirt and dust.)
 (Ideally, store in a well-ventilated, dry place away from direct sunlight, rather than a dresser.)
・Apply leather conditioner to your palm and moisturize the jacket.
・When autumn arrives and the season begins, apply a small amount of leather conditioner to moisturize.
・Maintaining with leather conditioner once or twice during the season will further enhance the aging process.

Aero Leather's horsehide is water-resistant, so a little rain is not a problem, but
care should be taken if it gets soaked to the point of water dripping off.
Never use a hairdryer or heater; allow it to air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
Just before it's completely dry, rub in more leather conditioner than usual to replenish the oil.
This is because oil is lost along with the evaporation of water.

Handling precautions for Hookless Zippers
A faithful reproduction of the valuable zipper from Hookless Fastener Co., the predecessor of Talon.
It's a collectors' item with mechanical beauty and rarity.
However, it requires a little care in handling until you get used to it.

・Before inserting the pin, lower the slider all the way down and insert the pin all the way down.
 Even if it's only partially inserted, the slider will go up. This will cause the zipper to open from the bottom,
 and you will have to force the slider down. If this happens 2-3 times, the slider may need to be replaced.
・Press down on the pin insertion side to prevent the pin from floating up, and slowly and carefully pull up the slider.
 If you feel even a slight snag, do not force it up.
・When removing the zipper, make sure the slider is all the way down, then slowly and carefully pull out the pin.

Regarding the Product
Many of our products are designed based on vintage items. To emphasize the vintage feel, there may be slight sewing discrepancies, differences in fabric color and texture due to processing, and color unevenness. Please understand these as part of the product's charm. Also, product specifications (sewing, parts, color, size, etc.) may change without prior notice. We hope you will enjoy the product with an understanding of the above points.

Because we intentionally preserve the natural texture of the leather, you may see many scars and wrinkles that the horse sustained during its lifetime. These are not defects.
A white powder (bloom) may be present on the surface, which is oil from the leather rising to the surface.
