The uneven fabric, woven on an old-fashioned shuttle loom, develops clear vertical fading, allowing you to enjoy a unique aging process. 2. 10oz Denim (Old-fashioned shuttle loom) The uneven denim fabric, characteristic of old-fashioned shuttle looms, develops clear vertical fading as it ages, and a distinct color fade. The 10oz denim fabric, with its moderate firmness and comfortable, not-too-heavy feel, can be enjoyed for many seasons. 3. Metal buttons Uses black painted metal buttons. As the buttons rub, the paint gradually peels off, revealing the metal underneath, which adds to the vintage look. 4. Selvedge unique to shuttle looms When you turn over the placket, you'll find the selvedge, proof that it was woven on a shuttle loom. The hem also has a selvedge gusset, contributing to the vintage feel. 5. Reinforcements in various parts for a workwear look Chambray fabric is layered on the back of the collar and cuffs for reinforcement, giving it a workwear finish. 6. Triple Stitching The main parts are sewn with a triple-stitched felled seam using three needles. This provides greater strength than double-stitched seams and gives it a workwear-like detail. On the reverse side, the center thread is red, which also adds a visual accent when sleeves are rolled up. 7. Ventilation Ventilation holes are provided under the armpits to release heat and improve airflow. This is one of the characteristic details of workwear. 8. Triangular Gusset Triangular gussets are attached to both sides of the hem. This detail is seen in vintage shirts and is said to have been added to reinforce the joining part of the hem. While Flat Head's construction provides sufficient strength, the gussets are added more for design than reinforcement.
