■ THE FLAT HEAD 14.5oz 50's Denim Jacket 2nd Model FN-OJ-D002N1
![]() Model: Height 175cm, Weight 60kg, wearing size 38 Design based on 1950s denim jackets This model is created with Flat Head's original fabric, based on the details of denim jackets said to have appeared in the early 1950s. In addition to the vintage-like design, you can also enjoy the unique vertical fading that is characteristic of Flat Head denim. To ensure it can be worn for a long time, we have incorporated clever touches, such as reinforcement details that were not present back then, to create an original Flat Head denim jacket. 14.5oz Denim Fabric 14.5oz denim fabric woven on an old-style shuttle loom. It is characterized by a distinct and strong vertical fade that appears with age. The original denim fabric, developed through extensive research from the yarn dyeing process, allows you to fully enjoy the fading. Old-style Shuttle Loom The fabric selvedge (edge) is used on the inside of the placket, which is proof of being woven on a shuttle loom. Pleats Pleats on the back provide extra room around the shoulders and back when worn. Original Iron Buttons Original iron buttons are used as a feature to enhance the aging and atmosphere of the denim jacket. By applying rust prevention, common brown rust is less likely to occur, and instead, luster and blackness will increase. Leather Patch (Deerskin) Similar to jeans, a deerskin patch with the brand logo is used. You can also enjoy the aging unique to deerskin. Original Copper Rivets and Bar Tacks Original copper rivets and bar tacks are applied to both sleeves for reinforcement. Bar tacks are an original detail, and by firmly reinforcing areas subject to high stress, the garment is designed to be worn for a longer period. Buttonholes Buttonholes are finished using a method called "ato-mesu" (after-cut). In this method, the area around the hole is cut after being embroidered, leaving a tuft of thread in the center of the embroidery. When attaching and detaching buttons, this remaining tuft acts as a buffer between the hard button and the embroidery thread, preventing wear and tear on the embroidery thread. Waistband There are adjuster belts on both sides of the hem. While still seen today, this was a characteristic detail from the 1950s. Stitching around the Pocket Perimeter The lower part of the chest pocket and the inner stitching feature stitching seen on vintage denim jackets. The meticulous stitching incorporates vintage details down to the finest points. ![]() A true American casual brand that takes the good old American taste of the 50s as its base and arranges it to suit Japanese styles and fashion. We pursue high quality regardless of cost. It features durable fabric and stitching, and true coolness emerges as the wearer breaks it in. ![]()
