■DELUXEWARE 13.6oz Vintage Tapered Straight Jeans 1953XX
![]() Model Height 175cm Weight 62kg Wearing 30 inches "1953XX" are modern vintage jeans that reproduce the materials, equipment, and environment of 1953. The 13.6oz dry denim manufactured from old-fashioned shuttle looms in Ibara, Okayama Prefecture, replicates the materials and manufacturing background of the time, along with the reproduction of the processes, allowing you to see the dry feel, color, and unique vintage texture. These are vintage jeans revived in the modern era, aiming to faithfully reproduce every detail through the actual use of the same vintage sewing machines, sewing thread work, and silhouette as in those days. <Silhouette> Silhouette: Tapered Straight Thigh Shape: Regular Special Notes: Button Fly This pattern is characterized by a straight cut that narrows at the waist and falls straight from the thighs to the hem with a slight taper. Furthermore, creative ingenuity has been applied to prevent chafing, damage, and holes near the inseam, resulting in a unique and original three-dimensional pattern created by using the selvedge of the side seams. <Details> Crimson Bartack The image color of Deluxeware is symbolized as a crimson bartack. Light Red Line Selvedge color of the original denim "Dry Denim". Pattern Vintage Straight: A straight shape with a deep rise and taper, generous thigh width, and a vintage-like back style. A vintage pattern that faithfully extracts the distortions and balance of vintage jeans. UnionSpecial 43200G / 3Roll Sewing The classic three-roll chain stitch of vintage jeans. The hem is faithfully reproduced using the very first black model of the Union Special 43200G from the 1950s. <Material: 13.6oz Dry Denim> 13.6oz denim manufactured on old-fashioned shuttle looms in Ibara, Okayama Prefecture, a denim producing region in Japan. This material is characterized by analyzing 1940s denim materials, using American Memphis cotton and starch paste made from corn, and then baking the entire fabric in an oven after weaving. This is Deluxeware's original manufacturing method, reproducing the creation process and environment of that time. <Original Fine Wash (Special One Wash)> Traditionally, vintage denim (commonly known as raw denim) always uses "starch" to prevent color transfer and strengthen the yarn during the manufacturing process. Therefore, during the first washing and drying, a large amount of starch comes off and the fabric density tightens, causing shrinkage. Fine Wash is an original Deluxeware wash process by denim washing craftsmen and finishing craftsmen. This meticulous wash process, which involves carefully soaking in water, then sun-drying, and finally iron finishing by craftsmen, achieves both the comfort of one-wash denim and the inherent texture of the denim. ![]() Deluxeware is Japan's only purely domestic Americana brand that completes all processes in-house, from planning, material development, pattern making, sewing and manufacturing, inspection, to commercialization, based on the ancient philosophy of the era when vintage wear was created.
