DENIME, which swept the Japanese fashion scene in the 90s, overcame the brink of extinction and has been re-launched in 2023, updated with WAREHOUSE's technology.

The Lot.232 denim jacket is designed to be a set-up with the Lot.220A jeans, DENIME's flagship model. It reproduces the so-called 2nd type denim jacket. The sophistication of an era when workwear shed its image, combined with the symmetrically well-balanced pocket placement, can be said to make it a standard number for casual wear. It's a denim jacket where you can enjoy the fading unique to DENIME's original denim.

The fabric was realized through joint development with Kurabo Industries Ltd. (a major manufacturer of textile products) based on the original recipe. Using American cotton spun into uneven yarn, rope-dyed with an exclusive indigo color, and then finished with botanical dyeing, it reproduces DENIME's characteristic deep hue. Furthermore, in the scouring process before rope dyeing, WAREHOUSE's unique method of using room-temperature water results in strong, distinct warps where the dyed areas are dark and the white core remains firm. Since an old-fashioned GL3 loom, known for its power weaving, is used, the characteristics of the uneven yarn are directly expressed in the denim.

Founded in 1988 by designer Yoshiyuki Hayashi, it was a pioneering Japanese replica jeans brand. After a transfer of ownership, it once faced extinction but was fully revived in 2023 by WAREHOUSE.
