were thoroughly restricted in what was considered unnecessary
and simplified in each part
to prioritize materials for World War II.
In addition, veteran seamstresses primarily manufactured military uniforms,
while the production of workwear, including jeans,
was handled by less skilled sewing workers.

D'Artisan reproduces the awkward stitching and simplified details
based on the historical background of the 1940s,
using 13.0oz original denim fabric spun in Ishikawa-dai.
After sewing, a beige topping is applied
to express the rough and rugged denim of the time
and the faded, oxidized
indigo blue atmosphere.
