During this period, jeans and denim jackets
were subject to strict limitations on seemingly unnecessary parts
and simplification of each section in order to prioritize resources for World War II.
In addition, veteran tailors primarily manufactured military uniforms,
while the production of workwear, including jeans,
was carried out by less skilled tailors.

Based on the historical context of the 1940s,
D'Artisan recreates the crude stitching and simplified details,
using 13.0oz original denim fabric spun in Ishikawadai.
After sewing, a beige topping is applied
to express the ruggedness and roughness of the denim fabric of that time,
and the muted, oxidized indigo blue atmosphere.
