For these jeans, sashiko stitching is applied to the warp threads, and kakishibu (persimmon tannin) dyeing is applied to the weft threads.
The indigo blue and persimmon color overlap to create
a unique reddish denim.
The stitching on the warp threads shrinks with each wash, causing irregularities,
allowing you to enjoy a three-dimensional appearance.
Kakishibu denim, born from the fusion of artisan skill and Japanese tradition.
Its texture and color evoke the nature and culture of Japan,
giving it a truly unique presence.
The silhouette is a relaxed taper.

Kakishibu dyeing is a traditional dye created from nature in Japan, and its history
dates back more than 900 years, passed down for a long time as a traditional Japanese dyeing technique.
It is also used as a herbal medicine and is said to have excellent antiseptic and deodorizing effects.
Kakishibu dyeing is also called sun dyeing; it oxidizes when exposed to sunlight and air,
and its color changes over time, developing a deep and unique hue.
