 Model Height 175 cm, Weight 62 kg, Wearing size 30 2023 marks 170 years since the arrival of the Black Ships. What if the U.S. Navy, led by Perry, had adopted jeans as its on-board uniform...? These "Kurofune U.S.N. Jeans" were developed from this fictional story. The fabric used is G3 denim, woven on a Toyota automatic loom "G3" to achieve the ruggedness reminiscent of workwear from that era. The weft uses black sulfur-dyed thread, dyed to evoke the image of the Black Ships, incorporating an element of a uniform where dirt from on-board work would be less noticeable. Details such as the front pockets are based on vintage U.S.N. utility denim pants, with D'Artisan's practical arrangements added. Silhouette: Regular Straight (101 type)  The name "Studio D'Artisan," founded in 1979, means "artisan's workshop." At that time, the concept of making jeans, now known as vintage replica jeans, hardly existed in the Japanese jeans market. Studio D'Artisan is a pioneering brand that established the foundation for craftsmanship, pursuing the dream of reproducing the essence of jeans themselves amidst the efficiency driven by mass production.
