This commemorative ring was created as a symbol of camaraderie by the "Flying Tigers" (AVG), a volunteer American air force unit composed of veteran pilots, who gathered after the end of World War II.
The ring is inscribed with "CBI," an acronym for China, Burma, and India, where the Flying Tigers operated, faithfully reproducing the atmosphere of the time.
Original vintage rings are extremely rare in the market and are highly sought after by military collectors.
