 Model Height: 175cm Weight: 62kg Wearing size L JELADO Tatanka Vest. This vest is based on a very rare black chimayo rug jacket from the 1930s-40s, reproducing its texture and feel. The fabric is woven using a patterned jacquard loom, the only one remaining in the Bishu region, just like the jacket. The material composition is 80% wool / 11% cotton / 9% nylon. For the warp threads, 30-count double-ply cotton is used, and by choosing heavy cotton, it has a firm hand feel. For the weft threads, wool blended with merino and twisted with nylon is used, achieving both strength and flexibility. Furthermore, by constructing it with a four-layer weave, where the weft threads are woven in four layers, it creates a fabric with a deep look and an overwhelming presence. The finishing process involves a natural finish followed by resin processing. By giving the threads stiffness and resilience, the vest maintains its three-dimensional shape and stability. The design is a gilet type without front pockets. By deliberately making it minimalist, the impact of the pattern and the presence of the fabric are maximized.
