■Buzz Rickson's A-2 Hand Painted KNOCKOUT DROPPER CONTRACT No.W535 ac-21996 BUZZ RICKSON CLO.CO. BR80669
![]() Model Height 175 cm, Weight 62 kg, wearing size 38 Aero Leather Co., which began producing A-2s in the late 1930s, boasts the highest number of deliveries among A-2 contractors, with seven contracts. This proves that Aero Leather Co. has long possessed reliable technology and production capacity, making it an excellent manufacturer capable of stable supply. This A-2 model is the fifth production lot manufactured by Aero Leather Co. in 1941. The four models delivered previously had a collar stand, but this model and subsequent ones do not. This model uses the same pattern for the left and right front body, so the pocket positions are horizontally shifted to maintain balance when viewed from the front. If you look at the spacing of the pocket positions from the left and right side seams, you can see that the pockets are attached at different positions on the left and right. A characteristic of this A-2 is that the rounded part of the bottom of the pocket is narrow, making the pocket shape closer to a square, and the placket stitch width is also narrow, giving it a sharp impression. The snap buttons used are ring-stud type, and the top part does not use a round cap, so when worn, scuffs and marks appear in a donut shape. Of the 18 contractors and 39 production lots of A-2s, only Aero Leather Co. produced A-2s with red rib-knits. The contrast between the dark seal brown body and the red rib-knit makes this A-2 a symbol of Aero Leather Co. Weight: 1550g ![]() Buzz Rickson's is a military brand of Toyo Enterprises, which also owns vintage American casual brands such as Sugar Cane and Sun Surf. The company's relationship with the military dates back to its predecessor, Kosho Shokai, which supplied products such as souvenir jackets (Sukajan, etc.) to US military bases. In 1993, the company released its first flight jacket. Since then, the military wear it has reproduced, like Sun Surf's Hawaiian shirts and Sugar Cane's denim wear, are all perfectly crafted. ![]() ![]()
