■Buzz Rickson's BLACK AN-J-3A HORSEHIDE WILLIAM GIBSON BR80655
![]() Model: Height 175cm, Weight 62kg, wearing size 38 【AN-J-3A】 The AN-J-3A and AN6552 were developed as successor models to the M-422A used by the US Navy. Because it was originally intended for shared use with the Army Air Corps, "US" is marked on the back of the collar. However, in reality, it ended up being almost exclusively adopted by the Navy, and the Army Air Corps replaced this model with the B-10, an intermediate flight jacket made of cotton. This AN-J-3A is a model delivered in 1946 by Willis & Geiger, which boasted a total of four deliveries for the predecessor M-422 system. Willis & Geiger, which was stable in terms of both technology and productivity, also achieved a total of three deliveries for the AN-J-3A system. Normally, the pocket flap of the G-1 is sewn with the upper flap turned over and the lower flap, but the lower flap is sewn as is after being cut. The history of the G-1 system, a jacket representative of the Navy, is long, and the G-1 is still being supplied. The main material of the G-1 is originally goatskin, but this lot is the only one in the long history of the G-1 that uses horsehide, so its rarity goes without saying. 【WILLIAM GIBSON COLLECTION】 A special collection series of Buzz Rickson's flight jackets produced by American novelist William Gibson. The jackets are arranged in black, a color that does not exist in the original. The quality is made to be as faithful as possible to the original jacket. ![]() Buzz Rickson's is a military brand of Toyo Enterprises, which owns vintage American casual brands such as Sugar Cane and Sun Surf. The company's relationship with the military is long-standing, with roots in supplying souvenir jackets (such as Sukajan) to US military bases during its predecessor company, Kosho & Co. In 1993, it released its first flight jacket. Since then, the military wear successively reproduced has been perfectly made, just like Sun Surf's Hawaiian shirts and Sugar Cane's denim wear. ![]() ![]()
