Denim shorts version of the M-51 Trousers adopted by the U.S. Army in 1951.
Due to the unevenness of pleats and pocket flaps, they are prone to rubbing and friction, causing the denim's appearance to beautifully change with each wear.
The cord loop provided inside the waist is a detail for hooking the metal hooks attached to the ends of suspenders.

Buzz Rickson's is a military brand of Toyo Enterprise, which owns vintage American casual brands such as Sugar Cane and Sun Surf. The company's relationship with the military is old, with roots in supplying souvenir jackets (such as sukajan) and other products to U.S. military bases during its predecessor company, Kosho Shokai. In 1993, they released their first flight jacket. Since then, the military wear successively reproduced, like Sun Surf's Hawaiian shirts and Sugar Cane's denim wear, are all perfectly crafted.
