A shorts version of the field trousers adopted by the US Army in 1951.
The back satin fabric, made by using cotton satin inside out, is a high-density material that provides a secure feeling when worn.
The cord loops provided on the inside of the waist are a detail for hooking the metal hooks at the ends of suspenders.

Buzz Rickson's is a military brand of Toyo Enterprise, which owns vintage American casual brands such as Sugar Cane and Sun Surf. The company's relationship with the military dates back to its predecessor, Kosho Co., Ltd., when it supplied souvenir jackets (such as Sukajan) to US military bases. In 1993, it released its first flight jacket. Since then, the military wear it has reproduced, like Sun Surf's Hawaiian shirts and Sugar Cane's denim wear, are all perfectly crafted.
