The back satin fabric, made from reversed cotton sateen, is a highly dense material that offers a reassuring sense of security when worn.
The cord loop inside the waist is a detail designed to hook the metal tip of suspenders.

Buzz Rickson's is a military brand from Toyo Enterprise, which owns vintage American casual brands such as Sugar Cane and Sun Surf. The company's connection with military items dates back to its predecessor, Kosho Shokai, when it supplied souvenir jackets (such as sukajan) to US military bases. In 1993, they launched their first flight jacket. Since then, the military wear reproductions, like Sun Surf's Hawaiian shirts and Sugar Cane's denim wear, have all been perfected.
