The US Army adopted herringbone twill for combat and gas protective clothing. Like the jacket, the Trousers, Herringbone Twill underwent several minor changes. The first pattern was a chino trouser type, but from the second pattern, the appearance changed significantly, with large flap pockets with gussets on both sides. A large gas flap was provided on the reverse side of the fly, so the label indicated "SPECIAL". Like the jacket, the trousers open and close with 13-star metal buttons painted black.

Buzz Rickson's is a military brand from Toyo Enterprise, which also owns vintage American casual brands like Sugar Cane and Sun Surf. The company has a long history with military wear, having supplied products such as souvenir jackets (like Sukajan) to US military bases during its predecessor's era as Kosho & Co. In 1993, they released their first flight jacket. Since then, their military wear reproductions, along with Sun Surf's Hawaiian shirts and Sugar Cane's denim wear, have all been perfectly crafted.
