The Mitchell pattern camouflage fabric was adopted as a formal military specification for camouflage effect, used for tents and helmet covers.
However, with the advent of the Vietnam War era, jackets and trousers began to be manufactured as local-made items.
Due to their local-made nature, these items are rare, and several variations exist.
Like the Frogskin pattern adopted during World War II, the print is double-sided, featuring jungle and desert specifications.
The material used is thick satin, with the satin side reversed for the jungle pattern.

Buzz Rickson's is a military brand from Toyo Enterprise, which owns vintage American casual brands such as Sugar Cane and Sun Surf. The company's relationship with the military is long-standing, with roots tracing back to the Port Trading Company era, its predecessor, when it supplied goods such as souvenir jackets (Sukajan, etc.) to US military bases. In 1993, they released their first flight jacket. Since then, the military wear items they have successively reproduced, like Sun Surf's Hawaiian shirts and Sugar Cane's denim wear, are all perfectly crafted.
