This is a denim version of the herringbone twill utility coat adopted by the U.S. Marine Corps in 1944.
It is a very luxurious jacket with a large area of double-layered fabric, such as the large capacity pockets from the shoulder to the chest.
Additionally, with many parts stitched with two needles, repeated wear and washing will result in a unique texture and fading.

Buzz Rickson's is a military brand of Toyo Enterprise, which also owns vintage American casual brands such as Sugar Cane and Sun Surf. The company's relationship with the military dates back to its predecessor, Kosho Co., Ltd., which supplied products such as souvenir jackets (Sukajan, etc.) to U.S. military bases. In 1993, they launched their first flight jacket. Since then, their reproductions of military wear, like Sun Surf's Hawaiian shirts and Sugar Cane's denim wear, have all been perfectly crafted.
