 Model Height: 175cm / Weight: 62kg / Wearing size M This jacket, commonly known as a "tanker jacket," was originally developed as winter combat gear for armored divisions. During the European front, due to a lack of winter equipment, it was used not only by armored divisions but also as a flight jacket. However, with the adoption of the M1943 field jacket, a multi-purpose combat uniform, in 1943, the winter combat jacket became a limited-issue item. The outer shell is made of water-resistant and wind-resistant cotton twill, and the liner uses 26oz. wool, with double-needle felling seams at the armpits and sleeves. The back features pleats on both sides to allow for unrestricted arm movement. There are two types of this jacket: an early model with patch pockets and a later model with single-welt pockets. Weight: 1300g  Buzz Rickson's is a military brand from Toyo Enterprises, which also owns vintage American casual brands such as Sugar Cane and Sun Surf. The company's relationship with the military dates back to its predecessor, Minato Shokai, which supplied products like souvenir jackets (sukajan) to US military bases. In 1993, they released their first flight jacket. Since then, their meticulously reproduced military wear, much like Sun Surf's Hawaiian shirts and Sugar Cane's denim wear, has been nothing short of perfect.
