 Model Height: 175 cm, Weight: 62 kg, wearing size 40 The US Army Air Force was testing various materials to solve problems with the summer flight jacket A-2 (expensive, difficult to mass produce, etc.). In 1939, DuPont developed nylon, and its adoption led to the completion of the Type L-2 flight jacket for the light zone (temperature range 10°C to 30°C) on May 21, 1945. This new material and collar-less design became the basic model that would greatly change subsequent flight jackets. The Type L-2 featured a leather box tab to secure the oxygen mask hose, and the lining used a double-weave fabric of smooth nylon and moderately insulating wool. Only three contracts were ever made for the L-2, and this L-2 was one of the first produced by Reed Products, Inc. Weight: 850g  Buzz Rickson's is a military brand from Toyo Enterprises, which also owns vintage American casual brands like Sugar Cane and Sun Surf. The company's relationship with the military dates back to its predecessor, Kosho Shokai, which supplied souvenir jackets (such as Sukajan) to US military bases. In 1993, they launched their first flight jacket. Since then, their reconstructed military wear, like Sun Surf's Hawaiian shirts and Sugar Cane's denim wear, are all perfectly crafted.
