Around 1965, the US military completed the full-scale "ERDL" camouflage pattern.
The design, inspired by lush jungle leaves, is also known as "leaf pattern."

Early "ERDL" models used cotton poplin, but later models switched to tear-resistant cotton ripstop.
"ERDL" is an acronym for "Engineer Research and Development Laboratory" of the US military, which developed it.

With a total of 5 pockets on the outside and inside, it offers excellent storage capacity, and the padding inside protects contents from external impacts.

Buzz Rickson's is a military brand from Toyo Enterprise, which also owns vintage American casual brands such as Sugar Cane and Sun Surf. The company has a long history with the military, with roots tracing back to its predecessor, Kosho Co., which supplied products such as souvenir jackets (Sukajan, etc.) to US military bases. In 1993, they launched their first flight jacket. Since then, the military wear they have reproduced, like Sun Surf's Hawaiian shirts and Sugar Cane's denim wear, are all perfectly executed.
