During WWII, the Type G-3A suit was adopted to reduce the G-forces experienced by pilots. Intense G-forces affect blood flow, causing blood to drain from the brain to the lower body. When the brain lacks blood, vision turns completely black, eventually leading to a state of unconsciousness known as "G-LOC." A suit was developed to tightly constrict the body with cords to prevent blood from flowing to the extremities. This bag was included to store that suit. The seams are painstakingly piped, and the zipper is a wartime TALON zipper. Although compact in capacity, the transfer Air Force mark and the numerous stencils covering every available space represent the pride of the Army Air Corps.

Buzz Rickson's is a military brand from Toyo Enterprise, which also owns vintage American casual brands such as Sugar Cane and Sun Surf. The company's relationship with the military dates back to its predecessor, Kosho & Co., which supplied souvenir jackets (such as sukajan) to US military bases. In 1993, they released their first flight jacket. Since then, they have successively reproduced military wear, and like Sun Surf's Hawaiian shirts and Sugar Cane's denim wear, all of their products are perfectly crafted.
