The Athletic Sweat series is back this year, featuring a vintage look and classic details that could easily be mistaken for an antique. It boasts a comfortable cotton-polyester blend that feels light despite its heavy fabric. The brushed lining makes it warm enough to wear as an inner layer even in cold weather. The silhouette is a relaxed fit with a moderate amount of room. The design is inspired by a fictional HOT ROD CLUB team sweatshirt. KNUCKLE BUSTER HOT ROD CLUB "HOT ROD" is a custom car genre born in America in the 1930s. Using Ford Model T, Model A, and 1932 Fords, customizers would remove the hood, windows, roof, and bumpers to lighten the body and improve its appearance. Sometimes, the engine would also be replaced with a modern, high-performance engine. It's also known for custom paint jobs featuring flames, called flame paint. This design is inspired by a fictional club team that enjoys this deeply ingrained American culture of "HOT ROD". The print uses cracked rubber. It incorporates vintage sweatshirt details such as moderately roomy armholes, underarm gussets, and V-shaped gussets on the sleeve cuffs, which were developed to make it easier to put on sleeves even with ribs that had poor elasticity at the time. To create a vintage feel, pigment dye is applied to the fabric surface, followed by a washing process to achieve the unique faded look of vintage clothing. Repeated washing will further fade the color, allowing you to enjoy the aging process. Despite its heavy feel, the fabric has the lightness characteristic of a polyester blend, making it perfect for autumn and winter. The brushed lining makes it fully usable even in the severe cold of midwinter.  A brand that revives the atmosphere of good old American vintage wear in modern times.
