The sweatshirt series, named "Super Heavyweight," uses a luxurious 500g of terry fabric per square yard (approx. 90cm square), making it one of the thickest items BARNS OUTFITTERS has ever offered in its extensive sweatshirt lineup. The series, which made its debut last year and garnered a significant response, is back again this year with updates. The updates include pigment dyeing and bio-washing, resulting in an item with a strong vintage feel. The design features an old man who loves DIY, carrying tools, from BARNS OUTFITTERS' popular "Old Man Series." Do It Yourself "Do It Yourself" literally translates to "do it yourself," and is the concept of making, repairing, or improving one's living space oneself, rather than relying on professionals. This old man steadily continues to make something little by little every time he has a day off from work. What will he make this time with the hammer and set square in his hand? His face looked somewhat satisfied. For the print, gray uses wash-out, while charcoal and sax use cracked rubber. The wide armholes allow for a relaxed and comfortable fit. The design also incorporates vintage details, such as gussets under the armpits. The ribs on the cuffs and hem are set at an exquisite tension, balancing the original sportiness and smartness of the sweatshirt. Colors other than gray are pigment-dyed, with the color applied to the fabric surface, then washed to reproduce the faded look characteristic of vintage clothing. Repeated washing will cause further fading, allowing you to enjoy the aging process. The thick terry fabric can be used for a long time, from early autumn to early spring.
