To delicately express Liam Alvy's graphics, the tenugui uses a traditional Japanese fabric called Oka (#30), and a tiger, which is the visual for this collection, was expressed using traditional printing methods. This fabric, known as Oka, has been said to produce delicate and elegant weaves since ancient times, and it is believed that even daimyo and oiran used it during the Edo period. Furthermore, due to the sumptuary laws at the time (laws prohibiting luxury and encouraging thrift), silk kimonos were forbidden, and cotton kimonos became widely produced. It is said that tenugui were also made from fabric scraps and became an indispensable daily item for common people. Through various historical changes, tenugui are still treated as one of Japan's traditional textile products, maintaining their traditional manufacturing methods.

The reason for leaving the fabric edges unfinished is said to be for better water drainage, faster drying, and to maintain cleanliness.
