■WAREHOUSE 1946 Model Jeans 1000XX DEAD STOCK BLUE
![]() Model Height 175cm Weight 60kg Wearing 30 inches (non-wash) A faithful reproduction of WAREHOUSE's vintage 1946 model. While they have released many realistic replicas that analyze vintage items, such as banner denim, for this Dead Stock Blue series, everything from the fabric to the parts and silhouette has been newly developed. This model, which is a transitional period between the war model and the 1947 model, has unique features such as an unfinished fly and a mixture of stamped and unstamped rivets. Similar to the original vintage, the back pockets are sewn slightly higher on the outside, creating a beautiful silhouette with drapes from a high position, flattering the hip line. The selvage and tab have faded over time to a pinkish hue. Denim woven with uneven threads, rope-dyed and then oxidized, just like vintage denim. Both warp and weft threads are woven with the same density as vintage denim. Reproduces the dull, deadstock iron buttons that have aged over time. The button shanks are also made of copper-plated iron, reproducing the oxidized texture. True to the 1946 model, there's a mix of stamped and unstamped rivets. These also have an oxidized texture. Made of rayon material, just like vintage items, it shrinks when washed to create a unique texture. Reproduces the faded look of items stored for decades without being worn. The leather label was also studied from vintage items, skived to 0.9mm, and finished with vegetable tanning. It shrinks with each wash, showing the same character as vintage items. ![]() Since its establishment in 1995, WAREHOUSE has pursued the theme of "faithful reproduction of vintage clothing," never being swayed by the changing trends of the fashion industry. They thoroughly research a single vintage piece they encounter, considering the historical context of its production, from a single thread to the fabric, sewing, and even the washing process. It is "BLUE" created by "time". "DEAD STOCK BLUE" born from the climate of America. Inside a general store in a ghost town, where time has stopped. The accumulated time in the stagnant air, as if refusing human entry. Old stock denim clothing that has been waiting for its owner for a long time. Stacked as if wrapped in a veil, they look new at first glance. Such denims "mature" unnoticed with time. Indigo, dyed and woven long ago, oxidizes from its original blue to "Dead Stock Blue." We have reproduced the unique appearance of denim fabric, backed by the passage of "time," using all the techniques we have accumulated over 25 years. From leather labels, buttons, and rivets to sewing thread, and even the setup of the sewing machines required for sewing, this is the pinnacle label, created with utmost dedication, to the point where we can confidently say, "It doesn't get any better than this." This autumn, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2020, what we want to show most is not something limited in quantity, but the "pinnacle" built upon accumulated technology. "What you are looking for is at WAREHOUSE." This is what the Shiotani brothers, the founders, were told by a vintage dealer in America before they established Warehouse. "DEAD STOCK BLUE" truly lives up to those words. The shock, as if our souls were gripped, that we felt when we saw it at WAREHOUSE back then... This is the peak of the pinnacle that WAREHOUSE has reached in 25 years.
