Founded in 1908 in Malden, Massachusetts, USA. The following year, the company began manufacturing rubber shoes, which were rare at the time.
After further trial and error, the "Canvas All Star," a shoe exclusively for basketball, was developed in 1917.
Since then, it has released a succession of masterpieces that have left their mark on the history of American sports shoes, developed in collaboration with top athletes, such as the Chuck Taylor for basketball and the Jack Purcell for tennis.
It is loved not only by sports players, but also by legendary actors on the silver screen and musicians in a wide range of fields.
